Front Wheel Toe Adjustment

Use the following steps in order to adjust the toe:
1. Loosen the lock nuts.
2. Loosen the steering gear boot outer clamp on the inner tie rod.

Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in Cautions and Notices.

Important: Ensure that the left tie rod and the right tie rod become equal in length.





3. Rotate the left tie rod (1) and the right tie rod by the same amount. Rotate the left tie rod and the right tie rod until the toe-in measures 0.0 degrees. Refer to Wheel Alignment Specifications.
- Tighten tie rod lock nuts to 65 Nm (47 ft. lbs.).
4. Ensure the steering gear boots are not twisted.
5. Tighten the steering gear boot outer clamp on the inner tie rod.
