Procedures

CAUTION:
^ Do not drain the fuel into an open container. Never store the fuel in an open container due to the possibility of a fire or an explosion.
^ Refer to Battery Disconnect Caution in Service Precautions.

1. Disconnect the negative battery cable.
2. Loosen the fuel tank fill cap.
3. Loosen the fuel filler pipe connecting hose clamp at the fuel tank.
4. Use a hand operated fuel pump device in order to drain the fuel through the fuel tank filler pipe.
