Wheel Cylinder Replacement

Removal Procedure





1. Remove the brake shoes.
2. Disconnect the brake pipe.
3. Remove the wheel cylinder bolts.
4. Remove the wheel cylinder.

Installation Procedure





1. Install the wheel cylinder.

Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in Service Precautions.

2. Install the wheel cylinder bolts.
^ Tighten the wheel cylinder bolts to 18 Nm (13 ft. lbs.).
3. Connect the brake pipe to the wheel cylinder.
^ Tighten the brake pipe fitting to 17 Nm (13 ft. lbs.).
4. Install the brake shoes.
5. Bleed the brake system.
