Roof Lift Off Panel Front Latch Handle Striker

Removal Procedure




1. Remove the roof panel.




2. Remove the sunshade.
3. Remove the side and upper garnish moldings.




4. Mark the location of the striker to aid in installation.
5. Remove the bolts attaching the striker.
6. Remove the striker.

Installation Procedure




1. Align the striker with the marks made before removal.

Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in Service Precautions.

2. Install the striker attaching bolts.

Tighten the roof front latch handle striker bolts to 10 N.m (89 lb in).




3. Install the upper and side garnish moldings.
4. Install the sunshade.




5. Install the roof panel.
6. Adjust if necessary. Refer to Roof Lift Off Panel Adjustment.
