Roof Lift Off Panel Rear Latch Replacement

Removal Procedure




1. Remove the roof lift off panel.




2. Remove the screws attaching the latch cover.
3. Remove the latch cover from the roof panel.




4. Remove the bolts from the latch.
5. Remove the latch from the roof panel.

Installation Procedure




1. Position the latch to the roof panel.

Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in Service Precautions.

2. Install the bolts to the latch.

Tighten the roof rear latch bolts to 10 N.m (89 lb in).




3. Install the latch cover and attaching screws.

Tighten the roof rear latch cover screws to 3 N.m (27 lb in).




4. Install the roof lift off panel.
5. Adjust if necessary. Refer to Roof Lift Off Panel Adjustment.
