Instrument Panel (IP) - Extension Replacement - Pro

REMOVAL PROCEDURE




1. From the back of the IP extension remove the 2 retaining bolts from the bracket.
2. Remove the console assembly from the vehicle.
3. Place the console assembly on a work bench.
4. Disconnect the wire connectors.
5. Remove the 12V power supply.
6. Remove the screws attaching the console to the front extension.
7. Remove the IP extension from the console.

INSTALLATION PROCEDURE




1. Install the IP extension to the console.

NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice in Service Precautions.

2. Install the retaining screws.

Tighten
Tighten the retaining screws to 1.6 N.m (14 lb in).

3. Install the 12V power supply.
4. Connect all the wire connectors.
5. Install the console in the vehicle.
6. Install the 2 retaining bolts to the bracket.

Tighten
Tighten the 2 bolts to 1.6 N.m (14 lb in)

7. Install the console.
