Instrument Panel (IP) - Trim Panel Replacement - Lower

REMOVAL PROCEDURE




1. Remove the instrument panel (I/P) cluster trim bezel.
2. Remove the following components, depending on how equipped:
^ The I/P cupholder cover, shown
^ The I/P cupholder
Refer to Cupholder Replacement (Except Pro) or Cupholder Replacement (Pro).
^ The floor console extension
Refer to Console Replacement (Luxury Console) or Console Replacement (Base Console) or Console Replacement (Pro).




3. Remove the bolts connecting the lower trim panel to the I/P assembly.




4. Disconnect the following electrical connectors:
^ The power outlet ports (1,2)
^ The ashtray lamp (3)
^ The I/P compartment lamp, if equipped
5. Remove the lower trim panel from the I/P assembly.

INSTALLATION PROCEDURE




1. Install the lower I/P trim panel to the I/P assembly.
2. Connect the following electrical components:
^ The power outlet ports (1,2)
^ The ashtray lamp (3)
^ The I/P compartment lamp, if equipped

NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice in Service Precautions.




3. Install the screws connecting the lower trim panel to the I/P assembly.

Tighten
Tighten the screws to 2 N.m (18 lb in).




4. Install the following components, depending on how equipped:
^ The I/P cupholder cover, shown
^ The I/P cupholder
Refer to Cupholder Replacement (Except Pro) or Cupholder Replacement (Pro).
^ The floor console extension
Refer to Console Replacement (Luxury Console) or Console Replacement (Base Console) or Console Replacement (Pro)
5. Install the I/P cluster trim bezel.
