Door Replacement - Front (Monte Carlo)

Removal Procedure

1. Remove the front door trim panel.
2. Remove the front door water deflector.
3. Remove the front door inner energy absorber.
4. Remove the front door outside rearview mirror.
5. Remove the front door outer belt sealing strip.
6. Remove the front door window.
7. Remove the front door frame applique.
8. Remove the front door window regulator.
9. Remove the front door outer energy absorber.
10. Remove the front door outside door handle.
11. Remove the front door inside handle.
12. Remove the front door lock.
13. Remove the front door window channel.
14. Remove the front door rubber conduit.
15. Remove the front door wiring harness.
16. Remove the front door body side moldings.
17. Support the front door.
18. Remove the door side hinge.
19. Remove the front door from the vehicle with an assistant.

Installation Procedure

1. Install the front door to the vehicle with an assistant.

Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in Service Precautions.

2. Install the front door side hinge.

Tighten the front door hinge bolts to 33 N.m (24 lb ft).

3. Install the front door wiring harness.
4. Install the front door rubber conduit.
5. Install the front door body side moldings.
6. Install the front door outer energy absorber.
7. Install the front door window channel.
8. Install the front door lock.
9. Install the front door inside door handle.
10. Install the front door outside door handle.
11. Install the front door window regulator.
12. Install the front door window.
13. Install the front door outer belt sealing strip.
14. Install the front door outside rear view mirror.
15. Install the front door inner energy absorber.
16. Install the front door water deflector.
17. Install the front door trim panel.
18. Inspect the front door for proper operation and alignment.
