Zone 6 (Coupe)

1. Turn the steering wheel so that the vehicle's wheels are pointing straight ahead.
2. Turn the ignition switch to the OFF position.
3. Remove the key from the ignition switch.
4. Remove the LH IP outer trim cover.
5. Remove the AIR BAG Fuse from the LH IP wiring harness junction block.

IMPORTANT: With the AIR BAG Fuse removed and the ignition switch in the RUN position, the AIR BAG warning lamp illuminates. This is a normal operation and does not indicate an SIR system malfunction.




6. Remove the RH door trim panel (2).




7. Remove the inflatable restraint side impact sensor (SIS)-RH (1) from the RH door (4).




8. Remove the connector position assurance (CPA) (3) from the SIS-RH connector (4).
9. Disconnect the SIS-RH connector (4).
