Converter Hanger Assembly Replacement

Removal Procedure
1. Raise and support the vehicle. Refer to Vehicle Lifting.

Notice: Refer to Catalytic Converter Movement Notice in Service Precautions.

2. Support the exhaust system





3. Remove the 3-way catalytic converter pipe hangers.
4. Inspect the 3-way catalytic converter brackets for serviceability. Repair or replace as necessary.

Installation Procedure





1. Install the 3-way catalytic converter pipe hangers.
2. Remove the support from the exhaust system and the vehicle.
3. Inspect the exhaust system for underbody contact.
4. Lower the vehicle.
