Sensor Replacement - Rear Compartment Occupant Presence

SENSOR REPLACEMENT - REAR COMPARTMENT OCCUPANT PRESENCE

REMOVAL PROCEDURE
1. Open the rear compartment.




2. Disconnect the electrical connector from the rear compartment occupant presence sensor.




3. To remove the rear compartment occupant presence sensor, push in on the retaining tab and slide forward to remove from the rear compartment upper shelf.
4. Remove the rear compartment occupant presence sensor from the vehicle.

INSTALLATION PROCEDURE




1. Align the rear compartment occupant presence sensor to the rear compartment upper shelf.
2. Push up on the rear compartment occupant presence sensor and slide to the rear to ensure the rear compartment occupant presence sensor is fully seated.




3. Connect the electrical connector to the rear compartment occupant presence sensor.
4. Close the rear compartment.
