Seal Replacement - Hood Rear

Tools Required

J 36796 Clip Zip Removal Tool


Removal Procedure





1. Open the hood.
2. Remove the air inlet panel push pins. Refer to Air Inlet Grille Panel Replacement (Service and Repair) .
3. Remove the rear hood seal retainer using the J 36796 .




4. Remove the seal from the vehicle.



Installation Procedure





1. Position the seal to the cowl panel.
2. Install the air inlet panel push pins. Refer to Air Inlet Grille Panel Replacement (Service and Repair) .




3. Install the rear hood seal retainers.
4. Close the hood.
