Cylinder Head Bolts

Important: Do not reuse the cylinder head bolts. Install NEW cylinder head bolts during assembly.

First Pass
All M11 Bolts in Sequence 30 Nm (22 ft. lbs.)

Second Pass
All M11 Bolts in Sequence 90 degrees

Final Pass
All M11 Bolts in Sequence 90 degrees
(Excluding the Medium Length Bolts at the Front and Rear of Each Cylinder)

Final Pass
M11 Medium Length Bolts in Sequence 50 degrees
(at the Front and Rear of Each Cylinder Head)

M8 Inner Bolts in Sequence 30 Nm (22 ft. lbs.)

Exhaust Manifold Bolts
First Pass 15 Nm (11 ft. lbs.)
Final Pass 25 Nm (18 ft. lbs.)

Important: Tighten the exhaust manifold bolts beginning with the center two bolts. Alternate from side-to-side, and work toward the outside bolts.






Intake Manifold Bolts
First Pass in Sequence 5 Nm (44 inch lbs.)
Final Pass in Sequence 10 Nm (89 inch lbs.)

Intake Manifold Wiring Harness Stud 10 Nm (89 inch lbs.)
