Lock Replacement - Front Door
LOCK REPLACEMENT - FRONT DOORREMOVAL PROCEDURE
1. Remove the trim panel.
2. Use a sharp bladed tool in order to separate the water deflector at the perforations. Refer to Water Deflector Replacement - Front Door.
3. Remove the lock rods from the front door lock.
4. Remove the front door lock screws.
5. Remove the front door lock from the door.
INSTALLATION PROCEDURE
1. Install the lock to the door.
2. Install the lock screws.
NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice in Service Precautions.
Tighten
Tighten the lock screws to 7 N.m (62 lb in).
3. Install the lock rods to the front door lock.
IMPORTANT: Install new plastic retainer clips whenever the lock rods are removed.
4. Install the water deflector.
5. Install the trim panel.
