Lock Lever Replacement - Front Door
LOCK LEVER REPLACEMENT - FRONT DOORREMOVAL PROCEDURE
1. Remove the trim panel.
2. Remove the lock rod from the lock lever clip (2).
3. Remove the bolts that retain the lever to the door.
4. Remove the lock lever from the door.
INSTALLATION PROCEDURE
1. Install the lock lever to the door.
2. Install the bolts that retain the lever to the door.
NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice in Service Precautions.
Tighten
Tighten the bolts that retain the lever to the door to 9 N.m (80 lb in).
3. Inspect the condition of the lock rod retainers.
If the retainers are damaged, replace the retainers.
4. Install the lock rod to the lock lever clip (2).
5. Install the trim panel.
