Compressor Clutch Relay: Service and Repair

COMPRESSOR RELAY REPLACEMENT

REMOVAL PROCEDURE

CAUTION: Refer to Battery Disconnect Caution in Service Precautions.




1. Disconnect the negative battery cable.
2. The relay is located in the fuse junction box in the engine compartment on the right-hand side.
3. Pull the relay straight up and out.

INSTALLATION PROCEDURE




1. Align the relay terminal contacts with the base receptacle.
2. Push the relay into the base until it is seated.
3. Connect the negative battery cable.
