Transmission Housing Oil Seal Replacement - Rear (2WD)

Tools Required
^ J23129 Universal Seal Remover
^ J6125-1B Slide hammer
^ J36503 Seal Installer

Removal Procedure
1. Raise and support the vehicle.
2. Remove the rear propeller shaft.





3. Remove the rear oil seal from the rear case using the J6125-1b (1) and the J23129 (2).

Installation Procedure





1. Using the J36503 install the new rear oil seal.
2. Install the rear propeller shaft.
3. Check the transmission oil level.
4. Lower the vehicle.
