Lock Replacement - Front Door

Removal Procedure

1. Remove the front door locking system module.




2. Press down on the locking tab and remove the front door inside handle.




3. Disconnect the front door inside handle rods from the rod guide.
4. Disconnect the front door inside handle rods from the front door lock.




5. Using a small flat-bladed tool, press the front door lock retainer in and slide forward to disengage from the front door locking system module.
6. Remove the front door lock from the front door locking system module.

Installation Procedure




1. Position the front door lock to the front door to the front door locking system module.
2. Align the tabs of the front door lock retainer to the opening in the front door locking system module, sliding backward to lock the front door lock to the front door locking system module.




3. Install the Front door inside handle rods to the front door lock.
4. Install the front door inside handle rods to the rod guide.




5. Install the front door inside handle.
6. Install the front door locking system module.
