NAVIGATION CONTROL PROCESSOR BRACKET REPLACEMENT

REMOVAL PROCEDURE
1. Remove the OnStar(R) vehicle communication interface module (VCIM).




2. Remove the nuts (1) retaining the navigation control processor bracket to the instrument panel (I/P) structure.




3. Remove the bracket from the vehicle.

INSTALLATION PROCEDURE




1. Install the bracket to the I/P structure.

NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice in Service Precautions.




2. Install the nuts (1) retaining the bracket to I/P structure.

Tighten
Tighten the fasteners to 9 N.m (80 lb in).

3. Install the VCIM.
