Axle Identification - Rear
AXLE IDENTIFICATION - REAR7. 5/8, 8.6 Rear axle identification information is stamped on the right side axle tube near the
differential housing. The information includes the following:
1.
Broadcast code (1)
2.
Build Source (2)
3.
Build date (3) (Julian date)
4.
Shift built (4)
In order to verify reports made on the rear axle assembly, include full code letters and build date numbers.
