Fuel Door Switch: Service and Repair

FUEL FILLER DOOR RELEASE SWITCH REPLACEMENT

REMOVAL PROCEDURE




1. Remove the console.
2. Disconnect the electrical connector from the fuel filler door release switch.
3. Using a small flat bladed tool, release the switch retaining tabs from the underside of the console.
4. Remove the switch from the console.

INSTALLATION PROCEDURE




1. Position the fuel filler door release switch to the underside of the console.
2. Push the switch to secure the switch retaining tabs.
3. Connect the electrical connector to the switch.
4. Install the console.
