Engine Sight Shield Replacement

Removal Procedure





1. Loosen the engine sight shield bolts.
2. Remove the engine sight shield from the sight shield bracket.
3. Remove the engine sight shield bracket bolts and the bracket.

Installation Procedure

Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in Service Precautions.





1. Install the engine sight shield bracket and the bolts.
^ Tighten the engine sight shield bracket bolts to 5 Nm (44 ft. lbs.).
2. Install the engine sight shield to the bracket.

Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in Service Precautions.

3. Tighten the engine sight shield bolt.
^ Tighten the engine sight shield bolt to 10 Nm (89 inch lbs.).
