Cargo Box Cover Hinge Bracket Replacement

Removal Procedure

1. Open the rear compartment lid.
2. Lower the endgate.
3. Remove the rear compartment lid. Refer to Compartment Lid Replacement - Rear (Compartment Lid Replacement - Rear) .
4. Remove the rear compartment liner. Refer to Rear Compartment Liner Replacement (Up-Level) (Rear Compartment Liner Replacement (Up-Level))Rear Compartment Liner Replacement (Base) (Rear Compartment Liner Replacement (Base)) .




5. Remove the cargo box cover hinge bracket fasteners.
6. Pull the cargo box cover hinge bracket away from the vehicle.




7. Disconnect the electrical connector, if equipped.
8. Remove the cargo box cover hinge bracket from the vehicle.



Installation Procedure





1. Connect the electrical connector, if equipped.




2. Install the cargo box cover hinge bracket onto the vehicle.

Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in Cautions and Notices.

3. Install the cargo box cover hinge bracket fasteners.

Tighten the fasteners to 30 N.m (22 lb ft).

4. Install the rear compartment liner. Refer to Rear Compartment Liner Replacement (Up-Level) (Rear Compartment Liner Replacement (Up-Level))Rear Compartment Liner Replacement (Base) (Rear Compartment Liner Replacement (Base)) .
5. Install the rear compartment lid. Refer to Compartment Lid Replacement - Rear (Compartment Lid Replacement - Rear) .
6. Close the endgate.
7. Close the rear compartment lid.
