Blower Motor: Service and Repair

BLOWER MOTOR REPLACEMENT

REMOVAL PROCEDURE
1. Remove the right blower motor bracket.




2. Disconnect the blower motor electrical connector (4).
3. Remove the blower motor mounting screws (1).
4. Remove the blower motor cooling tube (2).
5. Remove the blower motor (3).

INSTALLATION PROCEDURE




1. Install the blower motor (3).
2. Install the blower motor cooling tube (2).

NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice in Service Precautions.

3. Install the blower motor mounting screws (1).

Tighten
Tighten the screws to 2 N.m (18 lb in).

4. Connect the blower motor electrical connector (4).
5. Install the right blower motor bracket.

Tighten
Tighten the bolts and nuts to 10 N.m (89 lb in).
