Air Cleaner Housing: Service and Repair

AIR CLEANER ASSEMBLY REPLACEMENT

REMOVAL PROCEDURE
1. Open the hood.
2. Remove air cleaner outlet duct.
3. Remove bolts retaining air cleaner housing to upper tie bar.
4. Remove air cleaner housing assembly.

INSTALLATION PROCEDURE
1. Install air cleaner housing assembly.

NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice in Service Precautions.

2. Install bolts to retain air cleaner housing assembly to upper tie bar.

Tighten
Tighten bolts to 10 N.m (89 lb in).

3. Install the air cleaner outlet duct.
4. Close the hood.
