Turbocharger Oil Supply Hose Replacement

Removal Procedure





1. Remove the turbocharger.
2. Remove the turbocharger oil feed pipe bolt.
3. Remove the oil feed pipe and sealing washers.

Installation Procedure






1. Important:
Lubricate the NEW sealing washers with diesel fuel before installing.

Install the oil feed pipe and NEW sealing washers.
^ Each end of the oil feed pipe has different bend angles.
^ Ensure the 90 degree bend is towards the turbocharger.
^ Align the pipe as shown to clear the turbocharger lower heat shield.

2. Notice:
Refer to Fastener Notice in Service Precautions.

Install the oil feed pipe bolt.
^ Tighten the bolt to 34 Nm (25 ft. lbs.).
3. Install the turbocharger.
