Torque Converter Housing from Front Support Disassemble





1. Position the converter housing/front support module (2) on the work table so that the torque converter housing is facing up.
2. Remove the oil seal assembly (1).





3. Remove 10 bolts (1).





4. Remove the seals (2) from the bolts (1).





5. Remove the converter housing (1) from the front support module (3).

Notice: Do not damage the separator plate when separating the torque converter housing from the front support module.

6. Remove the converter housing/separator plate gasket (2) from the separator plate (4).





7. Remove 3 overlap seal rings (6) from the rear hub of the front support assembly.
8. Remove 2 butt-joint seal rings (1, 2) from ground sleeve (3).
9. Remove the thrust washer (5).





10. Remove 5 bolts (4) retaining the main pump assembly (1) to the front support assembly (3).

Notice: Do not damage the separator plate when separating the front support assembly,separator plate, and main pump assembly.

11. Separate the front support assembly (3), the separator plate (2), and the main pump assembly (1).
