Front Seat Lumbar Support Replacement

Removal Procedure

1. Remove the lumbar control knob. Refer to Lumbar Support Knob Replacement (Lumbar Support Knob Replacement).




2. Unhook the J channel (2) and pull up the seat back cover (1) to access the lumbar support.

Important: The lumbar support must be in the relaxed position to remove the control cable.





3. Remove the lumbar control cable (3) from the lumbar control (4).
4. Remove the lumbar support (2) from the front seat back (5) by compressing the four lumbar support push-in retainers (1).

Installation Procedure




1. Install the lumbar support (2) with the push in retainers (1) to the seat back frame (5).
2. Push in the retainers (1) into place until fully seated.
3. Install the lumbar support cable (3) to the lumbar support control (4).




4. Pull down the front seat back cover (1) and refasten the J channel (2).
5. Install the armrest. Refer to Armrest Replacement (Service and Repair).
6. Install the lumbar control knob. Refer to Lumbar Support Knob Replacement (Lumbar Support Knob Replacement).
