Seat Adjuster Replacement - Front Inner

SEAT ADJUSTER REPLACEMENT - FRONT INNER

REMOVAL PROCEDURE




1. Remove the front seat.
2. Remove the front seat inner adjuster finish cover.
3. Remove the front seat outer adjuster finish cover.
4. Remove the front seat back cushion.
5. Remove the front seat cushion.
6. Lift the retaining spring (3) and remove the seat adjuster handle (1) from the inner seat adjuster (2).
7. Remove the inner seat adjuster (2) from the seat adjuster lateral rod.
8. Remove the following components from the inner seat adjuster (2):
8.1. The anchor bolt
8.2. The seat belt buckle

INSTALLATION PROCEDURE




1. Install the seat belt buckle to the inner seat adjuster. Secure the buckle with the anchor bolt.

NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice in Service Precautions.

Tighten
Tighten the front seat belt buckle anchor bolt to 35 N.m (25 lb ft).

2. Install the inner seat adjuster (2) to the seat adjuster lateral rod.
3. Install the seat adjuster handle (1) to the inner seat adjuster (2). Ensure that the handle is locked into position by the retaining spring (3).
4. Install the front seat cushion.
5. Install the front seat back cushion.
6. Install the front seat outer adjuster finish cover.
7. Install the front seat inner adjuster finish cover.
8. Install the front seat.
