Endgate Handle Replacement

Removal Procedure




1. Remove the endgate trim panel seal. Refer to Water Deflector Replacement (2 Door) (Water Deflector Replacement (2 Door))Water Deflector Replacement (4 Door) (Water Deflector Replacement (4 Door)).
2. Remove the 2 mounting nuts (2) which secure the endgate outside handle.




3. Remove the endgate outside handle (2) from the rear license plate housing (1).

Installation Procedure




1. Install the endgate outside handle (2) to the rear license plate housing (1).





Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in Cautions and Notices.

2. Install the 2 mounting nuts (2) which secure the endgate outside handle.

Tighten the endgate outside handle mounting nuts to 10 Nm (89 lb in).

3. Install the endgate trim panel seal. Refer to Water Deflector Replacement (2 Door) (Water Deflector Replacement (2 Door))Water Deflector Replacement (4 Door) (Water Deflector Replacement (4 Door)).
