Endgate Strut Replacement

Removal Procedure




1. Remove the nut (2) which secures the endgate strut (1) to the endgate panel.
2. Remove the nut (2) which secures the endgate strut (1) to the endgate opening.
3. Remove the endgate strut (1) from the vehicle.

Installation Procedure




1. Install the endgate strut (1) to the endgate opening. Secure the strut with the nut (2).

Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in Cautions and Notices.

2. Install the endgate strut (1) to the endgate panel. Secure the strut with the nut (2).

Tighten the endgate strut nuts to 15 Nm (11 lb ft).
