Disc Brake Hardware Replacement

Removal Procedure







1. Remove the following components.
- The caliper bolts
- The pad insulators (1)
- The brake pad retainers (4)

2. Remove the slide pins from the caliper bracket (5).
3. Remove the boots from the caliper bracket.



Installation Procedure


Important: Verify the boots fit into the grooves securely.







1. Install the boots to the caliper bracket (5).







2. Apply disc brake caliper lubricant to the slide pins.
3. Install the slide pins to the caliper bracket.
4. Install the following components.
- The caliper bolts
- The pad insulators
- The brake pad retainers
