Ambient Light Sensor: Service and Repair

DAYTIME RUNNING LAMPS (DRL) AMBIENT LIGHT SENSOR REPLACEMENT

REMOVAL PROCEDURE




1. Using a taped flat bladed tool, gently pry the ambient light sensor (2) from the upper right IP mounting bolt trim cover (1).




2. Disconnect the ambient light sensor electrical connector (2).
3. Remove the ambient light sensor (1) from the vehicle.

INSTALLATION PROCEDURE




1. Connect the ambient light sensor electrical connector (2).
2. Install the ambient light sensor (1) to the upper right IP mounting bolt trim cover. Ensure that the retaining tabs are fully engaged.
