Knock Sensor: Service and Repair
REMOVAL PROCEDURE 1.
Disconnect the knock sensor (KS) electrical connector.
2.
Remove the
KS (1) from the engine block.
INSTALLATION PROCEDURE 1.
Install the
KS (1) to the engine block.
2.
Secure the
KS to the engine with the bolt.
NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice in Service Precautions.
Tighten Tighten the bolt to
23 N.m (17 lb ft).
3.
Connect the
KS electrical connector.
