Washer Pump Replacement

WASHER PUMP REPLACEMENT

REMOVAL PROCEDURE




1. Disconnect the windshield washer pump electrical connector (3).




2. Remove the 3 bolts (2) which secure the washer solvent container (1).




3. Drain the washer solvent from the washer solvent container (1) into a clean drain pan (2).




4. Remove the windshield washer nozzle hose (5) from the windshield washer pump (1).
5. Remove the windshield washer pump (1) from the washer solvent container (3).

INSTALLATION PROCEDURE




1. Install the windshield washer pump (1) to the washer solvent container (3).
2. Install the windshield washer nozzle hose (5) to the windshield washer pump (1).




3. Install the washer solvent container (1) to the vehicle. Secure the container with 3 bolts (2).

NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice in Service Precautions.

Tighten
Tighten the washer solvent container bolts to 13 N.m (115 lb in).




4. Connect the windshield washer pump electrical connector (3).
5. Refill the washer solvent container with washer solvent, as necessary.
