Wiper Arm Replacement

WIPER/WASHER SWITCH REPLACEMENT - REAR

REMOVAL PROCEDURE




1. Remove the windshield wiper arm nut cover from the windshield wiper arm.

Important: Before you remove the windshield wiper arm (2), mark the location of the arm in order to ease the installation process.

2. Remove the windshield wiper arm nut which secures the windshield wiper arm (2).
3. Remove the windshield wiper arm (2) from the windshield wiper motor linkage (3).

INSTALLATION PROCEDURE




1. Install the windshield wiper arm (2) to the windshield wiper motor linkage (3) by using the mark made as a guide. Secure the wiper arm with the retaining nut.

NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice in Service Precautions.

Tighten
Tighten the windshield wiper arm retaining nut to 20 N.m (15 lb ft).

2. Install the windshield wiper arm nut cover to the windshield wiper arm.
