Water Crossover Replacement

Water Crossover Replacement (2.5L Engine)





1. Drain the engine coolant.
2. Remove the intake manifold.
3. Remove the throttle body water outlet hose (1)
4. Remove the outlet heater hose (3).
5. Disconnect the coolant temperature sensor electrical connector (4).
6. Remove the bypass hoses (1).
7. Remove 4 nuts and 2 bolts from the water crossover (2).

Installation Procedure





Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in Service Precautions.

1. Install 4 nuts and 2 bolts from the water crossover (2).
- Tighten the four nuts and TWC bolts to 12 Nm (12 ft. lbs.).
2. Install the bypass hoses (1).
3. Connect the coolant temperature sensor electrical connector (4).
4. Install the outlet heater hose (3).
5. Install the throttle body water outlet hose (1).
6. Install the intake manifold.
7. Refill the engine coolant.
