Blower Motor Relay: Service and Repair

BLOWER MOTOR RELAY REPLACEMENT - AUXILIARY

REMOVAL PROCEDURE
1. Remove the left lower quarter trim panel.







2. Remove the air distribution duct to HVAC module assembly bolts.
3. Disconnect the air distribution duct and re-position for access to the blower motor relay.
4. Remove the blower motor relay from the mounting bracket.
Slide the relay up to disconnect from the relay bracket.
5. Disconnect blower motor relay electrical connector.
6. Remove the blower motor relay.

INSTALLATION PROCEDURE
1. Install the blower motor relay.
2. Connect the blower motor relay electrical connector.
3. Install the blower motor relay to the mounting bracket.
4. Connect the air distribution duct to the HVAC module assembly.







5. Install the air distribution duct to HVAC module assembly bolts.

NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice in Service Precautions.
Vehicle Damage Warnings

Tighten
Tighten the bolts to.....10 N.m (89 lb in).

6. Install the left lower quarter trim panel.
