Blower Motor Switch: Service and Repair

FRONT AUXILIARY BLOWER MOTOR SWITCH REPLACEMENT

REMOVAL PROCEDURE







1. Remove the I/P trim plate.







2. Remove the auxiliary blower motor switch retaining screws.
3. Pull straight out from the I/P in order to remove the auxiliary blower motor switch.







4. Disconnect the electrical connectors from the blower motor switch.



INSTALLATION PROCEDURE







1. Connect the electrical connectors to the blower motor switch.
2. Push in on the blower motor switch in order to install the blower motor switch.







3. Install the auxiliary blower motor switch retaining screws.

NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice in Service Precautions.
Vehicle Damage Warnings

Tighten
Tighten the screws to.....2.5 N.m (22 lb in).







4. Install the I/P trim plate.
