Ambient Light Sensor: Service and Repair

DAYTIME RUNNING LAMPS (DRL) AMBIENT LIGHT SENSOR REPLACEMENT

REMOVAL PROCEDURE
1. Remove the instrument panel (IP) upper trim.




2. Remove the security system LED.
3. Twist the DRL sensor counterclockwise in order to remove the sensor from the IP upper trim.
4. Remove the DRL sensor from the wiring harness.

INSTALLATION PROCEDURE




1. Install the DRL sensor to the wiring harness.
2. Position the DRL sensor in the IP upper trim and twist the sensor to secure.
3. Install the security system LED.
4. Install the IP upper trim.
