Map Light Bulb: Service and Repair
READING LAMP AND BULB REPLACE - OVERHEAD CONSOLEREMOVAL PROCEDURE
1. Insert a small, flat-bladed tool between the switch block/reading lamp housing and the overhead console.
2. Press inward and down in order to release the switch block/reading lamp housing from the overhead console.
3. Use a small, flat-bladed tool to push one of the tabs on the reading lamp socket to release the socket from the housing.
4. Remove the reading lamp socket from the housing.
5. Pull the bulb from the socket.
INSTALLATION PROCEDURE
1. Press the bulb into the bulb socket.
2. Push the lamp socket into the housing.
3. Align the forward tab on the switch block/reading lamp housing into the slot in the front of the overhead console.
4. Align the rear locking tabs to the overhead console.
5. Press up on the switch block/reading lamp housing in order to snap them into the trim ring.
