Remote Keyless Entry (RKE) Key Fob Comes Apart and Key Fob Screw Is Missing (Install New Screw)

Models:
2004-2005 Chevrolet Aveo, Epica, Optra
2005 Pontiac Wave

Condition

Some customers may comment that the screw holding the two halves of their RKE key fob is missing and that the key fob is coming apart.

Correction

Important:
DO NOT replace the RKE transmitter for this condition. Install a new screw to secure the two halves of the key fob.
