Shift Control Assembly Replacement

Removal Procedure

1. Remove the console top cover.
2. Remove the shift cables from the shifter assembly.





3. Remove the 2 front mounting nuts (2).
4. Remove the 2 rear mounting nuts (3) and the shifter.

Installation Procedure





1. Position the shifter on the studs and install the front 2 nuts (2).

2. Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in Service Precautions.

Install the 2 rear nuts (3).
^ Tighten the nuts to 25 Nm (18 ft. lbs.).
3. Install the shift cables.
4. Install the console.
