Coolant Temperature Sensor Replacement

Removal Procedure





Caution:
Refer to Battery Disconnect Caution Battery Disconnect Caution in Cautions and Notices.

1. Disconnect the negative battery cable.

2. Remove the glove box lower panel cover. Refer to Instrument Panel Storage Compartment Replacement Service and Repair in Instrument Panel, Gauges, and Console.

3. Turn the sensor to release it from the HVAC module.

4. Disconnect the electrical connector.

Installation Procedure





1. Install the coolant temperature sensor into the HVAC module and turn the sensor to lock it.

2. Connect the electrical connector.

3. Install the glove box lower panel cover. Refer to Instrument Panel Storage Compartment Replacement Service and Repair in Instrument Panel, Gauges, and Console.

4. Connect the negative battery cable.
