Seat Replacement

Removal Procedure

Caution: Refer to SIR Caution in Cautions and Notices.
1. Disable the Sir. Refer to SIR Disabling and Enabling Zone 3 orSIR Disabling and Enabling Zone 5 in SIR.
2. If seat is equipped with power seat motors, disconnect the electrical connector from the seat assembly.




3. Remove the nuts (3) that retain the seat assembly to the vehicle.
4. Remove the front seat assembly from the vehicle.



Installation Procedure





1. Position the front seat assembly into the vehicle.

Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in Cautions and Notices.

2. Install the nuts (3).

Tighten the nuts to 60 N.m (44 lb ft).

3. Connect the electrical connector to the seat assembly, if equipped with power seat motors.
4. Enable the SIR. Refer to SIR Disabling and Enabling Zone 3 or SIR Disabling and Enabling Zone 5 in SIR.
