Fuel Tank Pressure Sensor Replacement (MAXX)



FUEL TANK PRESSURE SENSOR REPLACEMENT (MAXX)

REMOVAL PROCEDURE
1. Disconnect the negative battery cable.

CAUTION: Refer to Battery Disconnect Caution in Service Precautions.




2. Relieve the system fuel pressure. Refer to Fuel Pressure Relief Procedure.
3. Drain fuel tank. Refer to Fuel Tank Draining Procedure.
4. Remove the fuel tank.
5. Remove the electrical connector from the fuel tank pressure sensor.
6. Remove the fuel tank pressure sensor from modular fuel sender.

INSTALLATION PROCEDURE




1. Install the new fuel tank pressure sensor to modular fuel sender.
2. Install the electrical connector to fuel tank pressure sensor.
3. Install the fuel tank.
4. Refill tank.
5. Install the negative battery cable.
