Energy Storage Control Module Replacement



ENERGY STORAGE CONTROL MODULE REPLACEMENT

REMOVAL PROCEDURE




1. Remove the energy storage box (ESB) intermediate cover.
2. Remove the control module nuts.
3. Lift the control module up off of the studs.
4. Disconnect the control module electrical connectors.
5. Remove the control module.

INSTALLATION PROCEDURE




1. Connect the control module electrical connectors.
2. Install the control module.

NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice in Service Precautions.

3. Install the control module nuts.

Tighten the nuts to 6 N.m (53 lb in).

4. Install the ESB intermediate cover.
5. Program the energy storage control module. Refer to Service Programming System (SPS) in Vehicle Control Systems.
