Steering Gear Check Valve Replacement - Off Vehicle

Disassembly Procedure





Important: Do not to damage the threads of the steering gear housing when removing the check valve.

Remove the check valve (1) from the steering gear housing (2) using a small screwdriver.

Assembly Procedure





Install the check valve (1) using a 9.52mm inch diameter piece of tubing 100 mm (4 inch) long to drive into the steering gear housing.
