Door Replacement - Rear Side Access

Removal Procedure

1. Remove the door trim panel.
2. Remove the stationary window.
3. Remove the inside door handle.
4. Remove the outside door handle.
5. Remove the upper and lower door latches.
6. Remove the door speaker.
7. Remove the weatherstrip from the door.




8. Disconnect the door wire harness.
9. Remove the front door striker.




10. Remove the door check link bolt from the pillar side.
11. Remove the hinge retaining clips.
12. With an assistant, lift the door up from the hinge pins and remove the door from the vehicle.

Installation Procedure




1. With an assistant install the door to the vehicle by setting the door down on the hinge pins.
2. Install the top and bottom clips hinge retaining clips.

Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in Service Precautions.

3. Install the door check link bolt to the pillar side.

Tighten the door check link bolt to 24 N.m (18 lb ft).




4. Connect the door wire harness.
5. Install the front door striker.
6. Install the rear door weatherstrip.
7. Install the upper and lower door latches.
8. Install the outside door handle.
9. Install the inside door handle.
10. Install the stationary window.
11. Install the door trim panel.
12. Inspect the alignment of the door.
13. Install body side molding.
