Stabilizer Shaft Replacement (35 Series)

Removal Procedure
1. Raise and support the vehicle. Refer to Vehicle Lifting.





2. Remove the stabilizer shaft link bolt (5) from the frame (1).





3. Remove the stabilizer shaft insulator brackets (2) from the rear axle (3).
4. Remove the stabilizer shaft.

Installation Procedure





1. Install the stabilizer shaft.
2. Install the stabilizer shaft insulator brackets (2) to the rear axle (3).





3. Install the stabilizer shaft link to the frame (1) and install the retaining bolt (5).
1. Tighten the bolt to frame to 95 Nm (70 ft. lbs.).
2. Tighten the insulator bracket bolts to 33 Nm (24 ft. lbs.).

4. Lower the vehicle.
